SAVE THE DATE! The 33rd Annual Jambalaya Jam, benefiting Capital Area United Way and sponsored by Shell will be held at North Blvd Town Square in downtown Baton Rouge on Thursday, October 22 from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.  Guests are invited to enjoy cold drinks and live music while sampling jambalaya from nearly 50 competing teams

We raised a record $156,000 for our local 10-parish community at the 2019 Jambalaya Jam! 

2019 Awards were presented to the following:

  • 1st place team– The Baton Rouge Clinic 

  • 2nd  place team– ExxonMobil BRPO 

  • 3rd place team – Triad Electric & Controls 

  • People's Choice – ExxonMobil BRPP

  • Best Appetizer – Methanex

  • Team Spirit – Entergy Riverbend

  • Community Games corporate winner – BASF

  • Community Games non-profit winner –Big Buddy Program

You do not need a ticket to enter the event area.  Tickets are sold to sample the jambalaya.  Event location N. Blvd Town Square and Lafayette St. outside of Old State Capitol - 222 N. Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70801.

$10 Lunch-to go: Grab a plate of pastalaya, salad , bread and dessert from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. by the beacon in N. Blvd Town Square. 

$10 Nightime to-go: Grab a container and fill up to your hearts desire to take home. 

$15 All-You-Can Eat: Most popular ticket! Purchase a wristband and sample over 49 teams of jambalaya. 

$50 VIP: Enjoy the VIP area with catered food and drinks and also enjoy All-You-Can-Eat. 

Coca-Cola products and beer will be sold
