because everyone deserves the opportunity to live their healthiest life.
At Capital Area United Way, we help people overcome barriers to good health by improving access to nutritious food and quality health education & services, including preventative care, maternal & child health, mental health support, and more.
How Are We Leading The Way in healthy community?
United We Feed
A CAUW initiative that brings together community members and corporate sponsors in the goal of providing healthy, nutritional food to areas impacted by food insecurity. Read more on United We Feed, including our monthly distribution operating in St. James Parish, here.
SingleCare
Partners with CAUW to offer up to 80% off prescription medication, regardless of health insurance status. (Some companies have stated the SingleCare deals have rivaled their own copay program!) This program allows ALICE families to keep money in their pocket, but it's also a universal service to be used by all in our community. Visit the SingleCare website to see how much you can save.
