Health Priority Areas

Being healthy includes physical, mental, and social well-being. United Way focuses on community needs including efforts to improve maternal and child health, increase access to healthy food, boost mental health support, ensure safe drinking water, and more. We’re working to help every person, in every community, live a healthy life.

Access To Nutritious Food: United We Feed is a Basic Needs Initiative that leverages corporate and community partnerships to provide fresh food access to our community’s ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) and poverty populations.

Health Promotion and Disease Prevention: increasing physical activity and access to nutrition; increasing access to preventative medical care through assessment and education

Behavioral Health and Wellness: increasing access to behavioral health assessment and treatment; decreased risk taking behaviors
