Jambalaya Jam Volunteer Sign Up

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Jambalaya Jam on Thursday, October 12th in downtown Baton Rouge.  


Shift 1 responsibilities include:
Signage/Tents set up, Cooking Team Supply distribution, etc

Shift 2 responsibilities include:
Lunch to-go boxing, prepping, handing out, cleaning up lunch area, Coke Booth, ice down drinks, sell products,  Ticket booth assistance                    

Shift 3 –responsibilities include:
VIP Set up, Kids Zone set up, Cooking Teams assistance– Trash, area clean up, etc

Shift 4  - responsibilities include : 
Beverage Booth, Ticket booth, Judging, Kids Zone and VIP


Shift 5 – responsibilities include:
Beverage Booth, Ticket booth Alicia, trash assistance, etc

Shift 6 – responsibilities include:
clean up

Parking
There are two parking garages we recommend: the 3^rd Street Garage and the River Center Garage. Additionally, there is street and lot parking in open spaces. Note: We will not reimburse for parking and there are two events that night in the River Center and Performing Arts Theater. Check-In and Out
Volunteers will check in at the Volunteer tent, located outside the Hartley/Vey Theatre on North Blvd, across from the Old State Capitol. There you will receive a t-shirt and more details about your shift. Once you sign out, you will receive a wristband for you to enjoy the event!
