YVC members engage in challenging, rewarding, and educational service projects year round. The flagship summer program consists of multi-day projects with different agencies every week. During that school year, YVC members participate in weekend service projects and national days of service. Help us reach our goal and make an impact in your community today!

YVC participates in an after school, weekend, holiday, or summer projects. We want our youth to be aware of community issues and want to show them how to make a difference through meaningful projects paired with service learning. We aim to host projects that address community needs by aligning our efforts strategically with the Capital Area United Way's Focus Areas: Education, Income Stability, Health, and Basic Needs.
Community Partners that have volunteer needs, camps, or valuable service opportunities for our youth, please consider sending us a request for volunteers.
