Entergy Utility Assistance Program

 

CAUW is proudly partnering with Entergy Louisiana to provide direct financial assistance for ALICE residents.

 

Through this initiative, Entergy Louisiana is offering a $100 credit towards utility bill(s), helping ease the burden ALICE faces on a daily basis. 

 

Please fill out the application below to be considered for bill assistance. Here's how it works:

  1. Find the application below and fill it out to the best of your ability. Make sure to read the eligibility guidelines below and include all supporting documents necessary.

  2. You will receive a copy of the application upon completion. Note: applicants will need to confirm their email address before application is finalized.

  3. Applications will be processed ACCORDING TO THE GUIDELINES/CRITERIA SET BY ENTERGY LOUISIANA

  4. Approved applications will receive a $100 credit on their Entergy bill

 

BEFORE YOU APPLY, please read the following and make sure you are eligible for assistance:
Entergy Louisiana customers ONLY!

 

  • Applicant must be account holder or authorized user on the account.

  • Must fall within the guidelines for income based on the ALICE Household Survival Budget


WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Photo ID (driver's license or state-issued ID/passport)
  • Income options (choose one)
    • First page of 2025 tax return for all income earners in household
    • 2025 W2 for all income earners in household
    • Last paystub for all income earners in household
    • Social Security Administration 1099 or 1042-S form
  • A functioning email address for application

 

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU APPLY:

We anticipate receiving more applications than available funding can support. To ensure a fair and equitable selection process, all applications that meet eligibility requirements and are submitted during the official application period will be entered into a lottery pool. Applications will be randomly selected from this pool until all available funds have been awarded.

Please allow up to ten (10) business days for the lottery and review process to be completed and for applicant notifications to be issued.
