Apply for Funding

This past year, we engaged more than 750 community members from the 10-Parish Capital Area in meaningful conversations. They shared their hopes, dreams and aspirations for the community. They talked about some of the current challenges we are facing and the solutions that we need to focus on in order to make the greatest impact. With these community conversations in mind, we developed a plan for our future.

We plan to invest up to $3.4 million dollars in eleven priority areas that were identified during our community conversations.

On July 16, 2018, we released our Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) to health and human services organizations within our 10-Parish service area.  We seek to partner with year-round programs that have collected at least 12 months of data and align with our priority areas. Programs that are awarded funding will receive three years of funding beginning July 1, 2019.

If your agency or organization is interested in applying for funding, please click here to see the NOFO.
