Capital Area United Way's Brotherhood Sisterhood Awards aim to honor those individuals in our community who have, over their lives, worked toward the elimination of bias, bigotry and racism across ethic, gender and religious lines.

The Brotherhood Sisterhood Awards aim to honor two individuals in our community who have, over their lives, worked toward the elimination of bias, bigotry and racism across ethnic, gender and religious lines. Last year’s winners were Gwen Hamilton and Randy Nichols. Hamilton manages Community Affairs at New Schools for Baton Rouge while Nichols serves as Executive Director of the Capital Area Alliance for the Homeless.
