Gifts in Kind
Capital Area United Way (CAUW) holds several annual events throughout the year. With in-kind contributions from area companies, CAUW does not have to use the donors’ contributions to cover the cost for promotional gifts/items used within these events.
Examples of in-kind contributions include: gift certificates, products, event-tickets, and promotional giveaways to name a few.
The levels of recognition per in-kind gift(s) vary according to value and what is needed for the event. In general, companies can be recognized in the following ways:
- Great media coverage at events
- Company name/logo will appear
- in the event program
- on signage
- on the back of t-shirts
- on our Web site
- in press releases
- Companies will also be recognized within the CAUW Annual Report distributed as an insert in the Greater Baton Rouge Business Report in the fall.
