West Baton Rouge Museum—through Sept. 18 "Cathartic Art: Remembering September 11th” This is a juried art exhibition commemorating the 10th anniversary of the tragic events now known as 9/11.
The exhibition features over 30 original art works from national and local artists from 9 states, including Louisiana.
Artists submitted pieces of art that expressed their personal reflections on the tragic events that unfolded on September 11, 2001.
USS Kidd—Sept. 11 Freedom Walk & Patriot Day Observances Originally created in 2005 to commemorate the attack on the Pentagon and honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, the Freedom Walk has grown into a nationwide event.

Interfaith Federation of Greater Baton Rouge—Sept. 11"Pray-for-Peace” Vigils will be observed from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm at several area faith communities.
